The amount of time you need to dedicate to onboarding depends on your goals, the support of your team, and how much time you can set aside.
The time commitment varies depending on your goals, team setup, and process complexity, but hereβs a ballpark:
π‘ We recommend setting aside at least 3 hours per week outside of your scheduled calls to complete tasks aligned with your onboarding schedule.
ποΈ In the early weeks (1β6), the workload may be slightly heavier as we focus on foundational setup. Later on, the workload often decreases slightly.
π― If you're doing Enterprise onboarding, expect a higher time commitment due to increased complexity and customisation.
Your HubGem consultant will guide you weekly on what needs to be done between sessions. If you're ever struggling with the workload, let your consultant know. we can help prioritise tasks, adjust timelines, or increase support hours so we can take on more of the load.
π Pro tip: Start your onboarding during a time when your team has capacity to focus. And make sure to nominate an internal project champion to help keep things on track.
